The BARTON Series 7000 liquid turbine flow meter is engineered for accurate liquid measurement across a wide range of applications. It handles large flow volumes with low pressure drop and offers long-lasting accuracy, with a high-frequency digital output ideal for digital readout interfaces.
Fluid enters through a diffuser and drives a hydrodynamically supported multi-blade rotor whose speed is proportional to flow rate; a pick-up coil reads each blade tip to generate a sine-wave signal equivalent to the flow. The rotor is the only moving part, and its small, lightweight hub ensures fast response to changes in system flow, while the symmetrical bidirectional design supports reverse-flow service without loss of precision or capacity.
