Non-contact, wear-free linear position sensors that determine the absolute position of a moving magnet along a sensing rod or profile.
ASM magnetostrictive position sensors measure absolute linear position without mechanical contact between the moving magnet and the sensing element. Because there is no sliding contact, the sensors are wear-free and well suited to continuous-duty and high-cycle applications.
Available in rod and profile styles with a range of interfaces, they deliver high-resolution absolute measurement and are frequently integrated directly into hydraulic cylinders and demanding industrial positioning tasks.
